PRINCIPAL NOTES

Following are the PSAE Incentives for the Classes of 2010 and 2011.  Please scroll down to see the Class of 2011.

Level I

• Exceeding in two or more categories of PSAE (Day 2) exam:
  1. Exempt from semester exams in related areas of the exam both semester 1 & 2.
  2. Choice of parking spot and free parking tag.
  3. Second semester study hall privileges: Release at beginning or end of school day if student has a SH to begin or end their school day; or use of Ipod if SH is in the middle of the student schedule. Eligibility is tied to discipline record, attendance record, fines or fees past due.
  4. One week of priority lunch line pass each semester. Student would wear an office-issued lanyard that gives the student the privilege of moving to the front of a lunch line.
  5. Hallway locker choice.
  6. Student activity pass

Level II

• Exceed in one area of PSAE (Day 2) and meet in all other areas of exam:
  1. Exempt from semester exams in area exceeded on PSAE exam; both semester 1 & 2.
  2. Choice of parking spot and 50% off parking tag price.
  3. Second semester study hall privileges at mid-point of 3rd quarter: Release at beginning or end of school day if SH is that period or use of Ipod if SH is in the middle of the student schedule. Eligibility is tied to discipline record, attendance record, fines or fees past due.
  4. One week of priority lunch line pass during the second semester. Student would wear an office-issued lanyard that gives the student the privilege of moving to the front of a lunch line.
  5. A 1/2 price activity pass.

Level III

• Meeting in all areas of PSAE (Day 2) exam.
  1. Exempt from second semester exams in related content.
  2. Choice parking spot and 25% off cost of parking tag price.
  3. 4th quarter study hall privileges.

NOTE: Seniors will also be eligible for incentives if they score higher than their projected ACT score based upon their plan test. They either become eligible for Level I incentives or move up one Level by exceeding their projected ACT score based upon the PLAN score.

PSAE Incentives for Seniors of 2011

Level I

• Exceeding in two or more categories of PSAE (Day 2) exam:
• Hitting all 4 ACT benchmarks.

1. Exempt from semester exams in related areas of the exam.
2. Choice of parking spot and free parking tag.
3. Second semester study hall privileges: Release at beginning or end of school day if student has a SH to begin or end their school day; or use of Ipod if SH is in the middle of the student schedule. 5th period SH gets double lunch period off campus on Fridays. Eligibility is tied to discipline record, attendance record, fines or fees past due.
4. One week of priority lunch line pass each semester. Student will wear an office-issued lanyard that gives the student the privilege of moving to to front of a lunch line.
5. Hallway locker choice.
6. 10 cookies from the lunchroom.

Level II

Exceed in one area of PSAE (Day 2) and meet in all other areas of exam:

1. Exempt from semester exam in area exceeded on PSAE exam.
2. Choice of parking spot and 50% off parking tag price.
